SETA is now CoHEsion
In the Fall of 2012, after the membership voted to change our name, we asked our members to submit suggestions to the SETA name change contest. After reviewing over 100 entries, a new association name was chosen.
We are proud to announce that SETA is now CoHEsion.
We are excited about the new name and opportunities we all will have as the association grows. Be sure to check back here regularly for updates as we go through the process of changing our website.
Congratulations to Shawn Lee from the University of Illinois for being selected as the winner of our New Association Name contest. Although our new name is slightly different than the one he submitted, it was his suggestion that was the inspiration for it. Shawn won a complimentary registration to a 2013 conference, one complimentary room for three nights and $200 towards travel expenses for the conference.
The CoHEsion Board is dedicated to members and the sharing of ideas, processes, and successes surrounding the use of shared software. As always, we welcome feedback from each of you. One piece of feedback we have received and have implemented is lowering the cost of conference registration for the 2013 conferences in Nashville and Salt Lake City. Membership in CoHEsion allows each of you to realize a lower conference registration fee, share code in the code repository, lend your voice to the Banner report card sent to Ellucian, and network with colleagues from around the United States.
